Wabash College / Trippet Hall

TRIPPETEXT-1.jpg

Wabash selected Jungclaus to develop budgets and to act as the general contractor for this showcase building. Because Trippet Hall is the home of the Admissions Office and the Center for Inquiry and serves as a mini-hotel for College guests, it contains impressive finishes that required an expert contractor. Pleased with our performance, Wabash asked us to build the Malcolm X Center, another signature project on this landmark campus.

  • $6.8 million construction cost

  • More than five miles of wood trim installed by Jungclaus

  • Kitchen and formal dining room.

  • Problems solved using our ProQuality™ system:

    • Jungclaus suggested changes to the masonry veneer design to comply with best practices.

    • Jungclaus suggested changes to the façade framing to improve durability for the building’s expected 100-year life.
