Kelly Park

Jungclaus-Campbell is the general contractor for Improvements to Kelly Park, on South Meridian Street, in the Old Southside neighborhood of Indianapolis.  Indy Parks is the Owner and Browning Day is the architect.

The improvements consist of:

  • Demolition of the old playground

  • Extensive new sidewalks and curbs (self-performed by Jungclaus concrete crews)

  • New perimeter fencing

  • All types of new playground equipment, set in poured rubber surfacing

  • An 800-square-foot steel shade structure.

Next door to Kelly Park is the Concord Neighborhood Center, which provides early childhood education, social services, and senior services to Southside families.  The Concord Center and Jungclaus, coincidentally, were founded in the same year—1875, and Jungclaus has been a proud financial supporter of Concord for over 30 years.

“The Jungclaus guys have been great,” says Niki Girls, Executive Director of Concord.  “They have been very kind, patient, and generous with educating us on what’s going on… it’s been super.”
